The Quantified Self is a movement that emphasizes the collection and analysis of personal data to gain insights into one's own life and behavior. In March 2020, I applied the principles of this movement to my own behavior - during a social media hiatus - and tracked my overall screen time. Through this intentional tracking, I was able to gain a better understanding of my habits and make more informed decisions on how I spend my time.

Effective data visualization requires not only accurate data, but also a clear and compelling design to communicate insights. By incorporating design principles such as contrast, hierarchy, and alignment, these visualizations can help to highlight key patterns and trends, and guide viewers towards important conclusions.
